What is a fixed subsidy (Festzuschuss)?

The fixed subsidy is the findings-based amount statutory insurers contribute towards dentures — regardless of which restoration you choose. A well-kept bonus booklet can increase it.

Can I pay for treatment in instalments?

For more extensive treatment, raise it with us early — ideally during the consultation, before the treatment and cost plan is finalised. We then go through the options together and adapt the sequence of treatment accordingly.

What determines the price of dental treatment?

The short answer: the extent of the findings, the material chosen, the laboratory work involved and the time in the chair. That is why serious figures only exist after an examination — never as a flat rate over the phone.

What does my health insurance cover?

Examinations, check-ups and medically necessary basic care are covered. For dentures the insurer pays a fixed, findings-based subsidy — a completely kept bonus booklet increases it. Implants, aesthetic treatments and aligner therapy are private services as a rule.

Private insurers reimburse according to your tariff; we prepare the documents you need to submit. For larger treatments we discuss payment in instalments on request — best raised early, before the cost plan is finalised.
